中国美院：玻璃艺术的未来

“随心造化”是“丹士”的精神内视，将万千幻像显现为不可思议的再现。把思想的晶体放入高温中熔炼造化。这正是玻璃艺术的独有魅力。
随着当代艺术的发展，多元化的艺术表现形式和艺术作品，毫无疑问极大的影响着人们的对艺术的认知，玻璃艺术作为当代艺术的一部分，以其独立的新的艺术材料语言被人们所认识，成为新的艺术发展趋势。

2003年开始，中国美院筹建了自己的玻璃艺术工作室，并一开始就将学院风带入当代玻璃艺术。中国美术学院玻璃工作室在研究玻璃的特性的同时将多种手法融汇贯通，放眼于研究世界范围的玻璃艺术发展，继承和发展中国传统文化。工作室同时鼓励学生参加各种艺术类展览比赛，并且在各类比赛中都有较好的成绩也得到了社会各界的广泛认可与好评，玻璃艺术工作室的多位老师也举办了多次个人展览和联合展览赢得了广泛好评同时扩大了玻璃艺术在社会中的影响力，使得更多的艺术家和大众关注于玻璃艺术创作。

上海玻璃博物馆提倡在分享中创造更精彩纷呈的玻璃空间，展出并收藏从建筑玻璃到国内外顶尖的玻璃艺术品。

China Academy of Art：the future of art glass

“Transmission of Imagination ”is a process of spiritual reflection, perhaps not unlike that work of ancient alchemists towards achieving incredible representations of myriad visions. The unique charm of glass art is found in smelting and smithing one’s thoughts into crystal.

The development of contemporary art and a wide range of media for artistic expression have permanently changed popular understandings of art, making glass art a distinctive part of contemporary art. People have recognized this unique artistic medium as a new developmental trend in the arts.

In 2003, China Academy of Art began to establish its own glass workshop, placing contemporary glass art firmly within the academic style. At the same time that the China Academy of Art researches the properties of glass, it also considers and integrates a wide range of methodologies, remaining open to glass art research around the world. It has also inherited and advanced traditional Chinese culture, and worked to help build world class glass art in China. The Glass Art Workshop has also cooperated with many companies to provide senior students with internship opportunities, which have given students a chance to practice their craft in a real work environment. Internships have incorporated awards given in cooperation with companies to students to encourage creativity. The Glass Art Workshop encourages students to enter a wide range of competitions and exhibitions, and students that have participated have performed very well and received widespread recognition and praise for their work. Multiple instructors in the Glass Art Workshop have held individual exhibitions and joint exhibitions, not only winning them praise, but also enhancing the popular influence of glass art and inspiring more people and artists to pay attention to the field.

The Shanghai Museum of Glass advocated creating a more colorful and wonderful glass art space. It shows From the architectural glass to the top of the glass works of art.
