塔
Tower
2001
The Tower is one of Hlôška´s famous artworks where he used optical glass and its special properties, that enables to show the 4th dimension effect of glass. Polished surfaces, and vacuum plated segments caked together. A sober geometrical forms where he splits inner space into countless variations by means of plated facets whose reflection waits for the spectator to move in order to surprise them with virtual motion or color changes within.
About The Artist

Pavol Hlôška
Slovki/
PavolHlôška uses metal covers to segment the internal space of glass objects. Metal areas float in the absolutely pure matter of optical glass. Except for the color of the metal itself, the colorfulness is mostly suppressed. He employs the properties of the optical glass and the effects of vacuum metallization of individual glass pieces as we can see also at the presented object called TOWER.
