Zen Mountain Ⅴ
2012
The series Zen Mountain takes inspiration from the silence of nature. By using the character of glass, I try to show the space between the spirit and the object. In the sipirit of the Zen narrative, I want to express a unique Asian perspective. The aesthetic focus of this artwork is transparency, immateriality and silence. I constantly try to push beyond the boundaries of light and glass material by studying their properties.
