一百多年来，传统艺术媒介的边界不断扩大，促使我们意识到艺术是一个开放的、动态的范畴，是一种智性的体悟过程。

玻璃艺术有着自己的发展轨迹和形态特征，受当代艺术的影响，其边界已经拓展至社会学、心理学、甚至政治学的领域，使玻璃艺术不再是单纯的“观看”，而是阅读、理解、思考。

《边界》展览融合了几位玻璃艺术家近期的艺术实践，他们不断突破玻璃艺术的界限，以期从一个视觉图像延伸到一个无限的境域。

Boundaries

Over the past 100 years, the boundaries of traditional art have continued to expand, forcing us to acknowledge its openness, inclusiveness and dynamism. The growth of the arts has been very much a process of epistemological realization.

Glass art has its own unique characteristics, and has followed its own path of development. Under the influence of modern at, the boundaries of glass art have expanded to incorporate, sociology, psychology and even political science. In this sense, glass art is no longer merely “viewed,” but is also read, understood and reflected upon.

The exhibition Boundaries brings together the artistic works of several glass artists, each of whom have in their own way transcended what once were the boundaries of glass art, extending the art form from mere visual images to an infinite realm of possibilities.
