“灰姑娘系列”椅子的玻璃腿就像是为每把椅子量身定制的假肢。玻璃在加热过程中的延展性使得它可以被吹制到椅子上，整个过程就像是为每一张椅子安装自己的假肢。玻璃假肢的存在，让原本千篇一律、平淡无奇的椅子顿时凸显了自己独一无二的美感。此外，看似脆弱的玻璃，在这些椅子中却足以承受住使用者的体重，这也是观者在欣赏这件作品时所未曾预料的。
These prostheses of glass, like prosthetic legs, are individually made for each chair. Glass is a malleable material when heated, which allows for the material to be blown onto the chair itself. The glass provides the otherwise identical chairs with a unique and independent aesthetic. The glass supports are strong enough to carry the weight of its user, something you do not expect when you see it.

Designer and artist Anna Ter Haar expresses her work through the experimental transformation of materials. She loves working with materials that can be manipulated and transformed into new objects. Her work as an artist and designer focuses on an unstable image in continuous transformation: the metaphor of nature and the perpetual transformation of things. Ter Haar has worked independently running her own studio and has worked in design and management positions for a multinational organisation.
