ABOUT EXHIBITION
“The way ahead is long; I see no ending, yet high and low I’ll search with my will unbending.” – Qu Yuan
EXPLORATION is a state of mind in artistic creation. Local contemporary artists believe that heritage and innovation are the basis and driving force for artistic creation.
It’s been 11 years since the western practical model was introduced to the contemporary glass art in Chinese schools. But unlike the mature Western contemporary glass art, China’s glass art is about to usher in concept innovation and a revolution and transformation in processing technology.
Shanghai Museum of Glass champions the creation of more colorful glass space via sharing. The purpose of this exhibition is to show the artists’ creative process through their works. Forsaking a single form of artistic expression, it shows the audience the nature of glass, artistic creativity and development trend with a wide range of creative tools and artistic languages!
