薛吕玻璃艺术
作为首位获得英国玻璃艺术博士学位的中国艺术家，以及中国玻璃工作室运动的先锋，是坚持不懈、系统的努力研究成就了薛吕博士2004年至2013年的“凝墨”、“凝霜”、“凝器”和“凝景”系列作品。
植根于中国的文化传统，嫁接在西方与远东的审美情结，将玻璃艺术雄心般地开拓延伸至建筑的规模尺度，薛吕博士的玻璃艺术作品已经被国际藏家收藏，认真赢得了国际学界的认可，并蓄势待发，为中国的建筑空间设计运用玻璃材料开创新的天地。

Glass Art of Shelly Xue
Something appears determinedly systematic about the research that underpins Dr. Xue’s work from 2004 to 2013 (Ink, Snow, Vessel and Landscape Series). As the first Chinese scholar to receive a doctoral degree in glass art in the UK, she is a pioneer of the studio glass movement in China.
Dr. Xue’s work is historically grounded in the Chinese tradition, aesthetically tuned to a Far Eastern sensibility, and architectural in its scale of ambition. It is already collected internationally and poised to develop new possibilities for interior architectural spatial design in Chinese glass.
