The art piece Glass Architecture – Red is a great example of Leššo´s artistic virtuosity that combines the pure geometrical shapes and technical perfection of optical glass with colors and special inner structures, showing the hidden dynamic of optical glass.
The art piece consists of 2 parts. The upper transparent part is made from transparent optical glass. The technological perfection of the cold cut finishing techniques enable to show the 4 dimension of the glass matter that is fascinating people all around the world. When it comes to the technological perfection of the cold cut techniques, you will hardly find another artist of Oliver Leššo´s generation in Europe that able to show such preciseness in the cold cut finishing techniques of optical glass.

透过Oliver Leššo的作品，我们既可以看到20世纪70年代斯洛伐克玻璃艺术采用纯几何图形以及完美技艺的传统，又可以看到现在玻璃艺术更加感性的一面。他不仅通过光学玻璃表现自己的情感，同时还创造出独特的、成为他的艺术标志的窑铸技术。
他把玻璃棒熔在一起，并对其进行喷砂处理，然后将经喷砂处理而形成粗糙表面的玻璃棒放入一个模型中，最后形成一个网状结构体，其内部充满经切割和打磨过的物体，形成了独特的内部空间。他作品的特点在于鲜明的对比，极为简单的表面与丰富多彩的内部的对比、闷光与透明的对比、有色玻璃与纯玻璃的对比。
Oliver Leššo´s work reflects the tradition of pure geometrical shapes and technical perfection of the Slovakglass art from the 1970s, but in a more emotional way. He found his expression not only in optical glass, but over the years he has developed a specialkiln-cast technique, which has become his artistic trade mark.
He fuses pieces of glass rods, each blasted into a particular grain, in a mould which results into a net like pattern structure inside of the cut and polished objects, defining the internal space. His objects are characterized by the contrast between the minimalistic surfaces and dynamism inside, mat and transparent surfaces as well as tinted and pure glass.
