展览以艺术家丁允多年来的水晶收藏与相关艺术创作为核心线索展开，从公众熟悉却鲜少深入探讨的“水晶与玻璃的区别”这一问题切入，将材料层面的知识延伸为关于认知方式与观看经验的讨论。

展览通过不同结构、纯度与光学特性的对比呈现，系统展示水晶与玻璃在物理属性上的差异。当光线穿透材料时所产生的折射与反射变化，被转化为展览叙事的重要路径。观众在空间中行进，随着光影的变化不断调整视角，在观察物质形态差异的同时，也逐渐进入关于“真实与幻象”“外表与内在”的思考层面。

通过将科学知识、材料研究与艺术表达相结合，《另一面》在理性逻辑与感性体验之间建立平衡，使展览既具专业知识深度，又保有开放性的思辨空间。材料不再仅仅作为物理存在被呈现，而成为连接感知、认知与自我理解的媒介。

The exhibition unfolds around artist Ding Yun’s long-term crystal collection and related artistic practices, taking as its point of departure a familiar yet rarely examined question: the difference between crystal and glass. From this material distinction, the exhibition extends into a broader inquiry into modes of perception and ways of seeing.

Through comparisons of structure, purity, and optical properties, the exhibition systematically presents the physical differences between crystal and glass. As visitors move through the space, they are prompted to continuously adjust their perspectives in response to shifting light and shadow. In observing the differences in material form, they are gradually drawn into deeper reflections on themes such as “reality and illusion” and “surface and interior.”
