国庆嘉年华乐翻天

2014年10月4日，上海玻璃博物馆的吉祥物玻玻璃璃隆重推出了玻璃博物馆的第一次年度嘉年华。嘉年华包含了玻玻璃璃大拍卖，国庆热玻璃烧烤派对，创意秋天DIY活动，艺术家大讲堂等等一系列活动，为这个秋日带来了惊喜连连和无限乐趣！

嘉年华当天有将近120名游客参与其中，气氛热烈。呆萌的玻玻璃璃深受大家的欢迎，纷纷与它们进行亲密大接触，留下完美合影。玻心璃语商店国庆特惠和玻玻璃璃拍卖会也吸引着大家的眼球，同时还别出心裁地引入传统的套圈游戏，让大家在欢乐淘不完的同时，好好怀旧了一把，回忆了童年的乐趣。热玻璃表演和DIY作为博物馆的经典项目自然也是嘉年华上的明星！热玻璃演示区热情似火，大朋友小朋友们都兴奋地观看玻璃在吹制师傅手中神奇的变化。DIY创意工坊推出嘉年华套餐，让喜欢创意的孩子们，发挥想象力，制作一份属于自己的艺术品。同时邀请参加嘉年华的伙伴们一起制作了一幅大型的创意秋天树。玩得累了，也不能亏待自己的。博物馆特意为大家准备了美味的烧烤与啤酒，尽享凉爽秋日。当然也可以到咖啡店慢慢坐下，享受一杯香浓的咖啡，看一场捧腹大笑的动画片，彻底放松心灵。

此次嘉年华活动是博物馆周六夜场特别活动的第一次试水，获得了大家的支持与鼓励。让我们共同期待接下来更加温暖美好的秋冬季活动吧！尽享玻璃的无限可能与璀璨魅力！

Enjoyed the Museum Carnival with Bobo & Lili

The Shanghai Museum of Glass hold the first museum carnival in the name of our mascots BOBO&LILI on October 4th, 2014. The interesting Carnival activities included Hot Glass Barbecue, DIY program to Create an Autumn by yourself, Artist Talk and the exciting Auction to get the fine products with favorable price.This carnival brought the visitors countless surprise and and become the highlight of the National Holiday.

There were almost 120 visitors enjoyed the funny carnival. The cutest BOBO&LILI has become the museum star and drawn the most attention. People were so happy to take a funny picture with them. Museum Gift shop prepared  various choice for the visitors and invited people to join in the childhood games—ring toss. People could memorize the past pleasure time as well as finding the beloved auction products. Hot glass performance and DIY programs could be described as the shining star on the carnival. People all enjoyed the amazing performance in the hot glass performance hall. DIY workshop provided different Carnival Courses Set. Children could realize their amazing imagination to a great piece of Art and were also invited to make an Autumn Tree together with other buddies. If you were hungry, you could find the delicious barbecue and cool beer around. Of course, you could also choose to sit back in the coffee shop, enjoying the warm coffee and the most interesting animation.

This museum carnival was the first try of Saturday Night special activity of SHMOG, which gained a lot of support and love. Let’s look forward to the next autumn-winter programs. Enjoy the infinite possibilities and bright warm of glass！

国家文物局罗静副司长莅临参观

今天下午，国家文物局博物馆与社会文物司（科技司）副司长罗静一行来到上海玻璃博物馆进行参观考察，上海玻璃博物馆执行总裁张琳热情接待了罗静司长一行，陪同参观了博物馆主场馆，DIY创意工坊、博物馆商店、画廊等展示区域。

罗静副司长一行同时参观了上海玻璃博物馆的跨年大展“Keep it Glassy”国际创意玻璃设计展的所在展厅，罗司长对展厅内充满奇思妙想的设计品展现了极大的兴趣，并对博物馆将现代时尚感的展品与废旧的工厂结合的创意理念表达了赞赏。

参观结束后，罗静副司长一行与张琳先生进行了充分的交流，张琳先生对博物馆开放理念、展览特色、互动项目、发展现状等做了进一步详细介绍。罗静副司长对上海玻璃博物馆开馆取得如今喜人的成绩给予了充分肯定，并提出未来发展可行建议和深切期盼。

交流结束后，张琳先生赠送了罗静副司长一行博物馆三周年庆定制礼物——灯工玻玻璃璃与万花筒以及印制精美的展览图册。此次参观交流在亲切友好的氛围中结束。

Deputy Director of State Administration of Cultural Heritage Paid a Visit

The delegation led by Luo Jing, the Deputy Director of State Administration of Cultural Heritage, paid a visit to SHMOG. Zhang Lin, the museum’s president, gave the delegation a warm welcome and showed them around the museum’s exhibit areas, DIY creation workshop, museum shop and glaze gallery.

Afterwards, the delegation came to the museum’s New Year Exhibition “Keep it Glassy”- International Creative Glass Design Exhibition hall, and Director Luo showed great interest in the designs full of whimsical ideas, and expressed appreciation for the museum’s creative philosophy of combining modern fashion exhibits with old factories and plants.

After the whole tour, Director Luo and the delegation had a communication with Mr. Zhang Lin. Mr.Zhang elaborated on the museum’s opening concept, exhibition features, interactive projects, development status, and so on.Director Luo highly praised the achievements by the Shanghai Museum of Glass since it opened and looked forward to the future development of museum.Mr. Zhang gave the 3-year-anniversay gifts as the souvenir to the Director Luo and the delegation. The meeting ended in nice and friendly atmosphere.

宝山区区委书记、区长一行莅临考察

上海宝山区区委书记汪泓、区长方世忠一行来到上海玻璃博物馆进行参观考察，上海玻璃博物馆总裁张琳热情接待了汪书记与方区长一行。此次考察重点参观了博物馆二期工程建设，博物馆二期工程以“博物馆生活方式”为主旨，营造梦幻玻璃会堂、博物馆艺术办公楼等项目。汪书记、方区长一行在张琳先生的陪同下，认真参观了正在建设中的二期工地，了解了博物馆最新进展情况，对博物馆未来发展提出深切期盼，表达了区政府对博物馆的充分支持与肯定。

Baoshan District Governor Paid a Visit

On the afternoon, the delegation led by Baoshan District Governor Wang Hong,Fang Shi Zhong and the delegation paid a visit to the Shanghai Museum of Glass. Zhang Lin, the museum’s president, gave the delegation a warm welcome.

The delegation came for the phaseⅡconstruction of SHMOG. The phaseⅡconstruction projects focus on the aim of museum lifestyle and has begun establishing fantastic glass wedding hall and museum art office. Governor Wang and Fang visited the phaseⅡarea, got to know the latest development situation of museum. They stressed the attention and support by the District Government to the Museum.

The lecture was kicked off by Teacher Deng Bin, and he stated his connection with kintsukuroi and the handcrafts. Through the different cases that are repaired, the audience can sense the loneness of the technique. Teacher Yuhui first started from different repairing methods, and then introduced the related repairing knowledge through the known repairing case of Portland bottle. She displayed the whole process of repairing hairpins through detailed pictures and full explanation, publicizing the basic rules and thoughts of restoration of culture relics. Kintsukuroi is full of casual and natural art feelings, and restoration of culture relics is precise and method-oriented, but the two ways are different methods to repairing glass hairpins.

The two-hour lecture was rewarding for audience, and they asked questions after the lecture and interacted with each other actively. Let’s look forward to the next great activity.

《装饰》杂志一行来访

《装饰》杂志始创于1958年，是当时全国惟一的工艺美术综合性学术刊物，早期的参与者张光宇、张仃、雷圭元、沈从文、吴劳、丁聪等先生均是中国艺术界具有深远影响的人物。现在《装饰》杂志作为清华大学在国内外公开发行的刊物之一，更具实力，影响力更大。《装饰》一直坚持的办刊方针是：“立足当代，关注本土”，以反映中国当代的设计实践与理论思考为己任，并因此而具有极高的学术参考价值和文献价值。 

著名《装饰》杂志主编方晓风，栏目主持周志博士到访上海玻璃博物馆。上海玻璃博物馆执行总裁张琳前往接待，上海大学美术学院教师王沁同行陪同。

方晓风主编一行首先到访王沁位于上海玻璃博物馆工作室，王沁工作室整体以中国文人元素为意趣，颇有韵味。方晓风主编一行欣赏了王沁的玻璃艺术作品，进行了短暂而亲切的会谈。随后，由张琳先生陪同参观了博物馆主馆、画廊、Keep It Glassy展厅，欣赏了精彩的热玻璃表演。方主编一行颇为喜爱博物馆展览与整体氛围，对玻璃艺术品与博物馆理念赞不绝口。

参观结束后，方晓风主编一行与张琳先生进行了愉快的交流。交流中，张琳先生讲述了博物馆办馆理念与历程、营运规划与未来发展一系列内容。上海玻璃博物馆始终秉持“互动型社区化”理念，始终在提升城市居民的归属感，拉近与大众的距离而持续努力，其终极目标是营造一种博物馆的生活方式。交流在亲切友好的氛围中结束。

Ancient Methods and Modern techniques

 ‘Zhuang Shi’ Magazine was the only crafts and arts academic magazine in domestic, which was first established in 1958. The former founder of the magazine, which included Zhang Guang Yu, Zhang Ding, Lei Gui Yuan, Sheng Cong Wen, Wu Lao and Ding Cong, were the most influential people of Chinese art field. Nowadays, ‘Zhuang Shi’ Magazine has become one of the journals published domestic and overseas by Qinghua University. ‘Zhuang Shi’ Magazine is always aiming at ‘Basing on the contemporary, Focusing on the local’ and has the responsibility to reflect contemporary design practices and theory study. Zhuang Shi Magazine has gained highly academic and documentary value.

The Editor-in-Chief Fang Xiao Feng of ‘Zhuang Shi’ Magazine and Doctor Zhou Zhi visited SHMOG at August 31st. Zhang Lin, the president of SHMOG gave a warm welcome, which were accompanied by Wang Qin, the teacher of Shanghai University.

Fang and the party first arrived at the glass studio of Wang Qin, which was located at the SHMOG. The glass studio was decorated at the Chinese ancient scholars’ interest. Fang enjoyed the glass art piece produced by Wang Qin and had a nice conversation. Later, Mr.Zhang Lin showed them around the museum area and watched the wonderful hot glass performance. Fang spoke highly of the museum display and exhibition.

After tour, Fang and his party had a nice meeting with Mr.Zhang Lin. During the meet, Mr. Zhang elaborated the whole idea and history of museum, daily operation and future development. SHMOG is always aiming at ‘Interactive Communalization’ theory and elevating the sense of belonging of citizens. The ultimate goal is to establish a kind of museum living style. The communication ended in nice and friendly atmosphere.

灵动玻璃来相伴 博物馆奇幻之夜

2014年8月30日

作为暑期收尾重磅活动——博物馆帐篷之夜顺利举办。大朋友们小朋友们对夜宿博物馆充满了热情与好奇，得到了大家空前的支持。截止活动开始，共有17组家庭/情侣报名参加，在这个凉爽的夏日夜晚，共享博物馆奇妙之夜。

博物馆帐篷夜以博物馆参观开启，17组家庭/情侣欣赏了美妙的玻璃艺术品，在无限创意与美丽中启迪心灵。博物馆精心准备的大餐也满足了挑剔的胃口，在满足精神需求的同时也享受美味，为接下来安排满满的互动活动补充体力。尽享大餐之后，大朋友们小朋友们欣赏了精彩的热玻璃表演，师傅们精湛的技艺受到了大家的喜爱。欣赏完表演之后，大家移步至DIY创意工坊，开展玻璃彩绘活动。大家充分发挥无限创意，创造出了属于自己的玻璃艺术品，为这样一个奇幻之夜留下了美好的回忆。激动人心的博物馆寻宝活动开始啦！17组家庭/情侣齐聚大厅，在工作人员的指引下开始了博物馆寻宝活动！小朋友们尤其热情投入，依靠自己的努力找到了博物馆角落里所藏的“宝物”。看，他们笑得多开心啊！

奇幻之夜的重头戏——搭帐篷是当晚最受关注的活动！大人小孩齐上阵！经过大家的努力，博物馆场馆中布满了一顶顶美丽的帐篷。有家庭还带了堪比“一室一厅”的豪华帐篷，让旁人羡慕不已。搭完帐篷，大家再次到咖啡吧稍事休息，喝喝饮料，尝尝冰淇淋，看一场好笑的动画片。孩子们这时候也累了，怀揣着美好浪漫，做一个好梦吧。

此次帐篷夜活动受到了参与家庭/情侣的一致好评，美好有趣的活动为凉爽夏日画上了非常圆满的句号。让我们共同期待下一次的博物馆帐篷之夜！

Amazing Sleepover Night at SHMOG

As the hot point activity of summer holiday, the sleepover night at SHMOG successfully held on Aug 30th. Parents and children had so much interest in sleepover night and fully supported the activity. Eventually, there were 17 families/couples participated in the sleepover night and enjoyed a wonderful night in the cool summer night.

Museum tour started the sleepover night. The participants enjoyed the beautiful glass exhibit and enlightened themselves in the infinite creation and beauty. Well-prepared dinner met with the picky stomach and refreshed the participants for more interactive games. Parents and children watch the interesting hot glass performance after delicious dinner. The marvelous technique of the masters gained the favors among the participants. Then the participants stepped to the DIY creation workshop to paint their own colorful glass pieces, which leave them the beautiful impression on the sleepover night. The most exciting treasure hunt started! All the participants began the treasure hunt under the guide of our staff. The kids were the biggest fans of the treasure hunt. They searched out all the museum to find the beloved gift. Look! How happy they were!

Putting up the tent was the most popular activity at that night. Parents were cooperated with their children. Beautiful tents were set up around the museum. Let’s relax us with a funny cartoon movie and have a nice dream!

The sleepover night has gained unanimous praise. Interesting activity put the complete end to the summer holiday. Let’s look forward to the next beautiful sleepover night! 

Tacoma玻璃博物馆策展人David Francis来访

塔科马是美国华盛顿州普吉特海湾的港口城市，著名玻璃艺术家戴尔·奇胡利就出生于此，成为塔科马市的骄傲。塔科马玻璃博物馆位于塔科马整修一新、热闹非凡的水滨地带，俨然一座美丽的艺术宫殿。该博物馆以其独具一格、美轮美奂的建筑设计风格著称，是一座高达 90 英尺的圆锥形不锈钢建筑，内有世界上最大的圆形热车间。在这里，可以欣赏各种 20 世纪和 21 世纪的玻璃艺术珍品，琳琅满目，令人目不暇接。

2014年8月5日，Tacoma玻璃博物馆策展人David Francis来访。David Francis先生最初以考古学与诗学研究起，而后逐渐进入策展人领域。在美国众多高校进行课程教授之后，自2006年起，David Francis先生在西雅图的当代艺术中心策划了众多精彩的艺术家联展与个展，撰写出版相当数量的展览评论与诗学著作与考古学田野报告。如今David Francis进入玻璃艺术世界，成为了Tacoma玻璃博物馆的策展人之一。

 在David先生饶有兴致地参观了博物馆的展览后，博物馆执行总裁张琳先生于柯庐会所接待了David先生，同时出席的还有英国玻璃艺术博士、上海大学美术学院薛吕老师，博物馆展览和藏品部经理陈瑛。张琳先生特别赠予了David先生博物馆三周年纪念品与精美的展览图录。在短暂而友好的会谈期间，David先生表达了对上海玻璃博物馆的赞许，提出了将当代艺术与玻璃艺术融合的设想，同样也表达了未来两馆之间展览交换、艺术家合作的意向。会谈结束之后，David先生在薛吕老师与陈瑛的陪同下，拜访参观了王沁老师位于博物馆的工作室，双方对未来如何更好地进行玻璃艺术创作、中西方合作等问题进行了交流。

随着Tacoma玻璃博物馆与我馆的深入交流与合作，我馆儿童博物馆的特别展览计划势必将成为未来展览的新亮点。让我们一起拭目以待未来精彩纷呈的合作成果！

David Francis, the Curator of Tacoma Museum of Glass,  Paid a Visit

Tacoma is a harbor city at the southern end of the Puget Sound in Washington. The famous glass artist, Dale Chihuly was born in Tacoma and is one of its most famous sons. Tacoma Museum of Glass, which is located at the brand-new and popular waterfront area, has become a beautiful art palace. The museum is widely known for its special and amazing architecture design style. The outlook of the museum is a cone stainless steel architecture of 90 feet, equipped with the world largest Hot Shop Amphitheater. Visitors around the world are able to appreciate various glass art pieces from 20^th century to 21^st century.

David Francis, the curator of Tacoma Museum of Glass, visited the SHMOG on Aug 5^th, 2014. Mr. David Francis was gradually into the field of art curatorship inspired by the study of archaeology and poetics. Since 2006, David Francis has curated numerous group and solo exhibitions for the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle. In addition to more than 20 curatorial essays in exhibition catalogs, his publications include a book of award-winning poems, a book on the Zoque indigenous region in Oaxaca, Mexico, and many archaeological reports. Currently he serves as curator for the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.

After visiting the exhibition of SHMOG with full interest, the president of SHMOG, Mr. Zhang Lin welcomed him in the Kiln Club, with Ms. Shelly and Chen Ying. Mr. Zhang Lin gave the 3-anniversary souvenir and elaborate exhibition catalogs to Mr. David as a special gift. During the lovely meeting, Mr. David expressed the compliment to the SHMOG, put out the picture of combining contemporary art with glass art and also delivered the intention about the exchange artists and displays. After the short meeting, Mr. David visited the glass studio of Wang Qin, accompanied by Shelly and Chen Ying. Both sides had a successful discussion about how to make better glass art piece and the art communication between China and West World.

The special exhibition project of KID’s Museum at SHMOG would become a hotspot during the future exhibition, by the deep communication and cooperation between Tacoma Glass of Museum and SHMOG. Let’s look forward to the wonderful future cooperation results!

上海银行卢湾支行金融文化产业研讨会在博物馆召开，博物馆执行总裁张琳、上海银行副行长王世豪、上海银行卢湾支行行长王晓岗，以及上海银行VIP客户们出席了此次金融文化产业研讨会。

研讨会上，博物馆执行总裁张琳做了名为“工业遗产的再利用——构建创意城市的重要途径”的演讲。张琳先生以“老厂房的艺术利用”为主题，在梳理工业遗产保护历程的基础上，将工业遗产再利用方式分为四个阶段：单纯租赁、简单设计、创意园区以及适应性再利用。从介绍博物馆的前世今生入手，展现了博物馆如何利用玻璃仪器厂老建筑、老资源创造新文化动力。张琳先生同样向与会嘉宾介绍了博物馆未来规划，体现了博物馆以“社区化”为导向，保留老厂房格调的同时最大限度符合当今市民的生活方式，展现了玻璃的无限创意和精彩可能。王世豪行长同样也做了名为“2014年国内金融新趋势”的演讲，通过对国内外不同金融政策的梳理，展现了未来金融发展的新动态，让嘉宾受益匪浅。

研讨会后，嘉宾们在张琳先生的陪同下观看了精彩的热玻璃表演，参观了高雅精致的伽蓝画廊与创意十足的KIG展厅，同样也拜访了上海大学美术学院教师王沁的玻璃工作室，此次金融文化产业研讨会获得了圆满成功。

The Financial Culture Industry Seminar of Bank of Shanghai Was Held at SHMOG

The Financial Culture Industry Seminar of Bank of Shanghai, LuWan Branch was held at the SHMOG on Aug 1^st ,2014. The chairman of the museum, Zhang Lin, the vice president of Bank of Shanghai, Wang Shi Hao, the president of Luwan Branch, Wang Xiao Gang and the VIP customers of Bank of Shanghai attended this seminar.

Our president, Mr. Zhang Lin delivered a speech named ‘The reuse of industrial heritage—the crucial way to construct creative city ’ on the seminar. Mr. Zhang focused the theme of the article use of old factories, on the basis of investigating the history of industrial heritage protection, thought that the reuse of industrial heritage could be sorted into four period: merely renting, simply designing, creative industrial park and the adaptive use. From introducing the history of museum, Mr. Zhang showed the guests how the designers worked with the old building of glass apparatus factory for creating the new culture power resource. The guests also be introduced to the future design plan, which expresses the museum’s emphasis on the theme of  ‘communalization’. The future museum park will be adapted to meet with the present living ways of the citizens and show the infinite creation and wonderful possibilities while keep the industrial taste of old factory. Mr. Wang Shi Hao, the president of Shanghai Bank, also gave a wonderful speech about the ‘the new trend of domestic financial in 2014’, demonstrated the new development of future finance by analyzing the financial policy domestic and overseas. All the guests benefit a lot from the amazing seminar.

After the seminar, the guests watched the excellent hot glass performance accompanied by Mr. Zhang, visited the elegant Glaze Gallery and KEEP IT GLASS exhibition, which is full of creative thought. The guests also visited the glass studio of Wang Qin, the glass art-making teacher of Shanghai University. After all the activities, the 2014 Financial Culture Industry Seminar achieved a complete success.

After the seminar, the guests watched the excellent hot glass performance accompanied by Mr. Zhang, visited the elegant Glaze Gallery and KEEP IT GLASS exhibition, which is full of creative thought. 上海玻璃博物馆之儿童馆动工啦

2014年7月25日

2014年7月下旬，上海玻璃博物馆儿童馆建设正式动工。玻璃博物馆儿童馆位于原生态工厂原址，热玻璃表演场馆后方。经过精心设计与多番论证，最终破土动工，进入热火朝天的施工阶段。 

上海玻璃博物馆针对4-12岁的儿童特别启动了此项目，希望藉此成为城市居民家庭活动的首选之地。踏入玻璃博物馆儿童馆的大门时，孩子们就在可爱的吉祥物“玻玻”和“璃璃”的欢迎中，开启玻璃的探索之旅。整个儿童馆，都将以寓教于乐的展陈方式贯穿于博物馆设计之中。让孩子们边玩边学，在互动和体验中，学习知识，玩乐玻璃。

儿童馆未来将开辟更多丰富多彩的创意课程，为儿童传授不同层面的有趣知识。在博物馆一期就获得极大成功的 DIY创意工坊，将被整合到全新概念的儿童馆中。新增加面积的DIY创意工房必定会给给学校课外活动和家庭休闲提供了美妙的课堂。儿童馆里将会有专属儿童的玻璃艺术展区，儿童咖啡馆以及吉祥物玻玻璃璃概念店，孩子们可以在此尽情享用属于他们的美好童年。通过惟妙惟肖的玻璃艺术品和吉祥物的巧妙组合展示，使博物馆成为孩子们学习知识与领略玻璃魅力的场所，让博物馆生活方式得到延伸。

The Begin Construction Work of The Kids Museum of SHMOG

The KIDS Museum of SHMOG has broken ground during the late of July, 2014. The KIDS Museum of SHMOG is located at the former site of old factory, just behind the Hot Glass Performance area. After elaborate design and several discussions, The KIDS Museum of SHMOG has begun construction. 

SHMOG has launched the project especially for the children during 4-12 years old and hoped that the KIDS Museum would become the first destination of family activity for the citizen. On stepping into the gate of this museum, children will be welcomed by the lovely mascot ‘BOBO&LILI’, and start the experience journey of glass. The entire exhibition way of KIDS museum will be a very enjoyable and educational experience. Children will absorb the knowledge of glass during the interactive ways and personal experience.

The KIDS Museum will release more various courses in the future, to teach children different variety of interesting knowledge. The DIY creation workshop， which has gained huge success during the Phase Ⅰ of the museum, will be integrated into the new KIDS Museum. The DIY creation workshop, which is designed with more area, will definite offer the amazing classrooms for school activity and family leisure. THE KIDS Museum will be equipped with glass art exhibits, KIDS café and new concept store of BOBO&LILI, where children can enjoy their own beautiful childhood. Through the vivid art glass piece and ingenious exhibition, the KIDS Museum will become the best venue for children to learn knowledge, appreciate the charm of glass and extend the museum living way.

The KIDS Museum of SHMOG will have its pilot run during the middle of December 2014. Welcome more children to come and experience the colorful world of glass!

The lecture was kicked off by Teacher Deng Bin, and he stated his connection with kintsukuroi and the handcrafts. Through the different cases that are repaired, the audience can sense the loneness of the technique. Teacher Yuhui first started from different repairing methods, and then introduced the related repairing knowledge through the known repairing case of Portland bottle. She displayed the whole process of repairing hairpins through detailed pictures and full explanation, publicizing the basic rules and thoughts of restoration of culture relics. Kintsukuroi is full of casual and natural art feelings, and restoration of culture relics is precise and method-oriented, but the two ways are different methods to repairing glass hairpins.

The two-hour lecture was rewarding for audience, and they asked questions after the lecture and interacted with each other actively. Let’s look forward to the next great activity.

透明璀璨过六一，博物馆里乐翻天

一年一度的六一儿童节是小朋友们最期待、最喜欢的日子。这一天上海玻璃博物馆里也热闹非凡，将近2000名大朋友小朋友来到博物馆度过了这美好的假期。

主展馆中的互动展项是小朋友们的最爱之一。第一单元中，小朋友们通过对于玻璃透光、放大、色彩等特性的动手体验和观察，了解玻璃的物理与化学性质。而在第三单元中由著名瑞士插画工作室Jacques & Brigitte所绘制城市绘画墙也是孩子们喜爱的互动展项之一。伴随着可爱插画上的醒目问号，“玻璃能飞得多高？”或“玻璃如何能说话？”这些看似天马行空的问题，将会引导孩子们到那些隐藏的暗门后探索真正的答案。 

热玻璃表演和灯工表演是小朋友们对博物馆最期待的互动演出。小朋友们早早地来到演出场地，聚精会神地观看热玻璃表演和灯工表演，感受师傅高超技巧的同时，也了解了玻璃的神奇特性和美妙艺术。

DIY创意工坊无疑也是孩子们的心头爱。经过DIY创意工坊工作人员的不断研发，现已推出了丰富多彩的玻璃创意体验项目。无论是色彩缤纷的玻璃彩绘，还是考校耐心的玻璃喷砂，又或者是创意无限的马赛克拼贴，还有清新宜人的微景观，都深得小朋友们的喜爱。天马行空，美丽可爱的成品都体现了孩子们的奇思妙想和动手能力！

 玩得累了，赶快来咖啡吧休息一下吧。9号楼的咖啡吧由老建筑改造而来，可爱的玻玻璃璃也在香气四溢的咖啡吧里欢迎大家。孩子们最爱的意大利冰淇淋，可口的蛋糕，香甜的牛奶，为这样一个愉快的六一儿童节画上圆满的句号！

Enjoy the Children’s Day at The SHOMG

The annual June 1^st –Children’s Day is the most expectant and favorite day for  our lovely children. On this day, Shanghai Museum of Glass was also crowded with approximately 2000 children and their parents. They have enjoyed the beautiful vacation in the marvelous museum.

 The interactive exhibits in the main museum were one of the favorites. Children can experience and observe the characteristic of the glass, learn the physical and chemical property of glass in the first unit. The urban painting wall in the third unti, which was made by the famous Swiss illustration studio, Jacques & Brigitte, was also the star exhibit in the museum. Eye-catching questions such as “How high can glass fly” and “How can glass speak” lead children to search through the exhibit for hidden answers.

Hot Glass Performance and flameworking performance are the most popular interactive shows among the children. Children arrived at the performance area early and were absorbed in the exciting shows. Not only enjoyed the excellent skill of the masters, but also they got to learn the amazing characteristic of glass.

DIY creation workshop is no doubt one of the children’s favorites. After the continuously studying on the glass art, DIY creation workshop now has released a large variety of glass experience projects. Whether glass painting, or glass sandblasting, or mosaic, or microlandschaft, various projects have been deeply loved by our children. These beautiful art pieces reflected the wonderful thoughts and impressive hands-on skills of our children!

Let’s take a short rest in the café bar. The NO.9 café bar was transformed from the old factory building. We were welcomed by the adorable museum mascot—BOBO&LILI. Beloved gelato, delicious cakes and sweet milk were the best closure of the happy Children’s Day!
